We ate at the Marketplace Grill on a Saturday evening when overnighting in Conroy. We found the restaurant without a problem and got in and seated right away! We chose the Marketplace Grill because both my husband and I wanted a burger for dinner. The selection of burgers was good. I had a turkey burger and hubby had the American. We both had side salads at a slight up charge and we shared a side of waffle fries. Our server Katie was a pure delight! She got our orders with some minor changes exactly correct. When my husband expressed disappointment in the amount of proportioned catsup provided she quickly and cheerfully provided more. Katie remained attentive and courteous throughout our meal. The only reason we knocked off one star was that hubby's burger was overdone on the edges and the waffle fries were not hot or crisp. Mind you neither of these things were bad enough to send the food back to have redone - and our dog really enjoyed the burnt burger edges!
We came here tonight for my aunt's birthday and had amazing service! Jerry did a fantastic job not just with refills and bringing food out in a timely manner - but also helping us store the cupcakes we brought in the fridge and singing happy birthday. The food was delicious, but Jerry's amazing service helped make the birthday dinner a success!
Katie was an excellent server. Very kind and attentive. The price for 3 for lunch was very reasonable.
This please has amazing food. Had the jambalaya pasta and boom, boom shrimp, and both were perfect. You have to get the chocolate mess. Service was on point. Casual atmosphere. Family friendly.
Family-friendly American basics done well, in a warm & inviting (if cavernous) dining room. The 'Dinners-for-Two' offer value priced 3-course meals. We started w Flaming Queso & Chips, then segued to Hawaiian Chicken & Chicken-Fried-Steak (w loaded salads & mashed potatoes). Both entrees were tasty, but the Loaded Mashed Potatoes were fantastic! We split the Mini-Chunk Cake a la Mode dessert, and left with smiles on our faces! Good service, and good Sweet Tea! Well done!
